Sk8er Booties

Having owned a few pair of Converse sneakers in my life I couldn’t resist the challenge of creating a knitted pair after seeing some crocheted ones. It took a few tries and many mis-matched sizes before I was able to make two of the same and be satisfied with the pattern.
Although there are quite a few ends to weave in and some seaming to do I will definitely make more of these in all sorts of colors. Eventually I think I will change the pattern to work in the round to avoid the seaming. But for now I’m quite pleased with myself for defeating the pattern!
